Best options at 200+ calls a month

Once you pass a few calls an hour, the billing model drives the bill. Flat-rate and per-unique-caller plans scale very differently from per-minute ones.

Cost at higher volume

Cheapest published plan at each monthly call volume, assuming 3-minute average calls. “n/c” = not computable from published pricing. * = another plan from this vendor would exceed its allowance and has no published overage rate, so it cannot be priced; it might be cheaper.

How each model scales

Editorial opinion

At 200 to 300 calls a month, Goodcall, Rosie Scale and Upfirst Pro are the lowest published options in our index, with different feature sets. If your volume is unpredictable or growing quickly, NextPhone's flat rate removes billing risk. Before committing, confirm how each vendor treats spam and very short calls, since that can change your effective volume.
